WFNX/Boston will cease broadcasting Friday July 20th. This marks the end of an era for alternative radio as another independent alternative has been sold to a major conglomerate.
FNX’s final day personality lineup includes voices of the past:
Tai 6:00-11:00 am.
Jim Ryan 11:00 am-2:00 pm
Neal Robert 2:00-7:00.
At which time the station will sign off and go on Clear Channel premium choice autopilot until a new format, likely conservative talk, will launch at 101.7 FM. So long WFNX, you’ve been loved most of your life. Enjoy life on the radio rainbow bridge with WDRE, WOXY, KUKQ and so many other alternative stations now in the broadcast scrap heap.
